"The American Girls Collection" name has been changed to "Historical Characters"

Well, I have to say that AG, this is most certainly a step down. "The American Girls Collection" is so much classier than "Historical Characters". What's happening to AG?

I noticed that too. "American Girls Collection" sounds a lot better than "Historical Characters".

But, now it makes "American Girl Collection" refer to the historicals as well as the JLY dolls. By encompassing both, it drives home the point that they are all "American Girls."
